In recognition of World Hypertension Day, Bangkok Hospital Pattaya hosted a health talk on Tuesday, May 17, under the theme: “World Hypertension Day: The Silent Killer.”
The event brought together physicians from multiple specialties to share insights into the dangers of high blood pressure and practical tips for maintaining long-term health.
The event was open to the public free of charge and featured a wide range of health-focused activities, including:
- Educational booths and cardiovascular risk assessments
- Information on stroke, eye, and kidney diseases
- Nutrition guidance from health and diet experts
- Body composition analysis (muscle and fat mass)
- Blood pressure screening and preventive health advice
- Special offers on portable blood pressure monitors
On this occasion, Dr. Bunyaporn Chandra-Chamnong (Dr. Mo) participated as a guest speaker, sharing her expertise on eye care for patients with hypertension. She highlighted how high blood pressure can affect ocular health and provided practical guidance on preventing long-term complications.
Another highlight of the event was an exclusive talk with Kong Saharat Sangkapricha, who shared personal experiences and wellness tips on maintaining a healthy and vibrant lifestyle.
