The Able the Disabled Foundation, in collaboration with the International Riding School at Horseshoe Point Resort & Country Club, Pattaya, continues its Equine Therapy program to support children with special needs, including children with attention deficit disorders and those on the autism spectrum, through therapeutic horseback riding activities.
Equine Therapy uses horses as a therapeutic partner to help children develop focus, strengthen muscles, improve balance and enhance coordination. This form of therapy effectively supports physical, emotional and social development, offering meaningful progress for children with developmental challenges.
Founded in 2005 through the vision of Mr. Chaikeree Srifuengfung, founder of Horseshoe Point Resort, the Able the Disabled Foundation recognizes the value of equine therapy and is committed to developing the program to international standards. The foundation aims to ensure that children with special needs in Thailand have access to high-quality, supportive and inclusive therapy.This equine therapy program has been running continuously for over 20 years and is currently offered every Wednesday morning at Horseshoe Point Resort & Country Club, free of charge, to support the long-term development and quality of life of children with special needs and their families.
