Who we are
Glassisimo by Ophthalmologist
was founded by Dr. Bunyaporn Chandra-Chamnong (Dr. Mo), a retinal specialist, with a vision to elevate the standard of optical care. Through years of clinical practice, she recognized that many patients struggled to find an optical center that could provide accurate eye examinations, professional guidance, and high-quality eyewear after their medical consultations.
This inspired the creation of Glassisimo by Ophthalmologist, a comprehensive one-stop eye care and optical center, where medical expertise meets premium optical services.
Our commitment is to deliver the highest standard of vision care through evidence-based practice, from comprehensive refraction and personalized consultations to selecting the most suitable lenses and frames for each individual. Facility Standards
- The optical clinic is under the direct supervision and quality control of an ophthalmologist with comprehensive eye examinations performed by a team of licensed optometrists.
Operating Hours: Monday–Saturday, 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM - Equipped with a full range of professional vision testing and optical dispensing instruments, including:
- Autorefractokeratometer
- Digital Phoropter Lensmeter
- Pupillary Distance (PD) Meter
- Trial Lens Set

- A dedicated refraction room with a standardized 6-meter testing distance for accurate vision assessment.
- Children requiring specialized refraction are referred to an ophthalmologist at Bangkok Hospital Pattaya, where cycloplegic refraction can be performed when clinically indicated.
- A secure electronic medical record system maintains each patient’s prescription and vision history for continuity of care.
- Transparent pricing is provided for all eyeglass frames and prescription lens options.
- Eye health education and patient information are regularly shared through Glassisimo Optic’s Facebook page, with all medical content reviewed and supervised by an ophthalmologist.
- Patients requiring medical treatment for eye diseases can be referred directly to an ophthalmologist without delay.

- Our primary eye care professionals participate in continuing professional education organized by the Society of Ophthalmologists Specializing in Refraction and related professional organizations within 12 months.
